Biography

Evan Salmon (b.1971) is a Wollongong-based painter known for his dynamic and sensitively observed works grounded in the visible world. His practice spans industrial landscapes, still life, and the human figure, unified by a deep engagement with light, structure, and spatial relationships.

His works are widely held in public collections including the National Gallery of Australia, Artbank, and the NSW Parliament.
