Jan Howlin

Biography

Sydney-based artist Jan Howlin makes sculptural ceramics that present ideas and meaning through form. While these ideas have always been derived from her personal experience, for some years now environmental and political issues have become her focus.

Trained at Sydney College of the Arts, she was awarded a Bachelor of Visual Arts, Honours I, in 2007 and a Master of Fine Arts in ceramics in 2011.
