Minhi Park

Minhi Park is a Korean ceramic artist based in Melbourne. Her work reflects a deep fascination with natural lines and imperfections, drawing on traditional Korean forms found in heritage buildings, monuments, and everyday objects. By integrating traditional Korean techniques with modern materials, Park explores the interplay between historical roots and contemporary ideas.

Park studied ceramics at Kunkuk University in Seoul before spending twelve years working in various fields. She re-entered the ceramics world upon relocating to Australia, training as an apprentice in a North Carlton studio. Now working independently from her home studio, Park continually refines her craft, embracing the dynamic relationship between past and present while maintaining her unique artistic voice.
