Holly Phillipson

Holly Phillipson is a ceramic artist specialising in wheel-thrown tableware and functional artworks. Influenced by global craft traditions and historical artefacts, her work reflects a deep appreciation for the rich history of ceramic production and its enduring cultural significance. Characterised by meticulous craftsmanship and thoughtful design, Phillipson's creations bridge past and present, drawing inspiration from classical ceramic forms.

Phillipson graduated with a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Visual Arts) from Flinders University and Adelaide College of the Arts in early 2022, focusing on ceramics in her final two years. She honed her skills and developed her professional practice at JamFactory as part of the Associate Program for emerging artists and designers in 2022 and 2023. Now, she continues her work in her backyard studio in Klemzig, SA.
