Gallery LNL is pleased to present Memories of Landscape, an exhibition of paintings and ceramics by Judy Lane. This exhibition invites viewers to journey through Lane's textured and nuanced interpretations of the Flinders Ranges and Central Australia.
Spanning decades of artistic practice, Lane's work distills the essence of place into evocative, atmospheric compositions that exist at the intersection of observation and recollection. A graduate of the Julian Ashton Art School, Lane has dedicated over thirty years to painting and teaching. Her practice has been shaped by extensive travel, with formative periods spent painting and teaching in France. Drawing from on-site sketches and deeply held memories, Lane's works are imbued with a quiet yet profound sense of place, both immediate and remembered.
