  • Phyllis Agam, Kerry Sanders, Danielle Segal, Jeff Stanton, J9 Stanton, Ralph Stanton

All in the Family brings together two generations of the Stanton family in a rare celebration of shared creativity across time, place, and medium. Spanning ages from their nineties down, the exhibition unites six artists working in diverse practices—abstract painting, botanical watercolour, ceramics, sculpture, and woodwork.

Though varied in form and expression, the works are linked by a deep respect for craft and a commitment to integrity in making. From Jeff Stanton’s finely crafted woodwork to his brother Ralph’s bold abstractions, and from Phyllis Agam’s meticulous botanical studies to the experimental ceramics and sculptural works of daughters J9, Kerry, and Danielle, each piece carries both individual vision and a thread of family connection.

This exhibition is as much about lineage as it is about art. It invites audiences to consider how creativity is nurtured, inherited, and reimagined within families, offering a tapestry of perspectives shaped by shared history yet uniquely expressed. All in the Family celebrates continuity, difference, and the enduring power of art to connect generations.
