Toni Warburton will present Encounter, a solo exhibition at the Sydney College of the Arts Gallery, curated by Jan Guy.
Encounter brings together selected works from five decades of Warburton's practice, "tracing an expansive trajectory through ceramics, assemblage, installation, notebooks and maquettes".
At its core, the exhibition explores "the act of encounter: a meeting with materials, objects, places, cultures and people driven by memory and lived experience".
The exhibition opens on Wednesday 5 August, 6pm–8pm, and runs from Thursday 6 August to Saturday 12 September. The gallery is open Monday to Friday, 11am–5pm, and Saturday, 12pm–4pm.
